⚠️ Important: 60°C Thermal Limit

This mount is crafted from eco-friendly PLA, which has a Glass Transition Temperature (softening point) of 60°C. In direct summer sunlight, car dashboard temperatures can quickly reach or exceed this limit.

Why this is a Safety Feature:

  • Passive Thermal Release: Upon reaching 60°C, the mount is designed to soften and release its grip. This allows your device to drop into the cooler, shaded area of the cabin.
  • Battery Protection: By "failing" at this temperature, the mount acts as a sacrificial fuse—preventing your expensive tablet from baking against a scorching sunlight.
  • Solar Sensitivity: Black variations absorb heat faster. If you use a dark mount, it will trigger this safety release point sooner to prioritize hardware protection.
  • Best Practice: To maintain the mount's original shape, we recommend removing it or covering it when parking in direct sunlight.
